Equity artists Alan Kutner as Orthodox Jew Mr. Green and Damon Bonetti as executive Ross Gardiner square off as playwright Jeff Baron explores the idea that sometimes unexpected visitors are the ones we need the most. Translated into 22 different languages, Visiting Mr. Green, is one of the most produced plays in the world; and this hilarious tale of the Curmudgeon vs. The Yuppie is sure to warm the hearts of the tri-state region, thanks to thanks to its honest humor.
The production will be directed by Sloan, director of Temple University Theaters.
Producing Artistic Director Penelope Reed said she is delighted to bring this heartwarming, hilarious and touching play to the Hedgerow stage because it demonstrates human values at their best.
Performances are Thursday throughSaturday at 8p.m.; Sunday at 2 p.m. and Wednesday, Feb. 3 at 1 p.m. There will be Open Caption performances Sunday, Feb. 7 at 2 p.m. and Thursday, Feb. 11 at 8 p.m. There will be also be a talk-back following the Feb. 7 show. On Valentines Day, (Feb. 14) the 2 p.m. performance will include a sweet-for-your-sweetheart intermission.
Tickets are $22 on Wednesdays; $25 for all other performances; with $3 discounts for seniors and $10 for age 18 and under.
